I was browsing through Michaels when I first got my gears going for
crafting. I wasn't sure what I would make. I ran across a thin wooden
frame. I really liked the shape to it. Very Vintage!
Few ideas I had for it: Mirror, Picture Frame, Chalk Board and Hair Clip Holder.
I ended up going with the hair clip holder.
Instructions:
- Paint the 1st side of the frame and let dry.
- Paint the 2nd side and let dry.
- Cut 4 pieces of ribbon, measuring from top of frame to the bottom.
- Flip frame to the back. Mark 4 dots, spaced out, going across the top of the frame.
- Hot glue the 1st end of the ribbon to dot one and let dry.
- Hot Glue the 2nd end of the ribbon to the bottom of the frame, keeping it straight & tight.
- Continue steps 5 - 6 for the other three remaining ribbons.
- Use the lace ribbon, loop through the to holes on the frame, tie a knot (leaving room so you use it to hang the frame) and make a bow.
- Voila!
